Let's dive in.

Overall

  • 51 cybersecurity companies in 28 unique product categories raised $2.4B in February 2022 (up from $1.79B in January 2022)

By Industry

Most funding again did not favor a specific industry, but there was an interesting uptick in the space & satellite, and military & defense industries.

This diversified spending may have a lot to do with the Ukraine and Russia conflict, but I would expect a heavier momentum going into the March and April timeframes in industries that cross the physical and cyber divide.
